What does "to live by faith" mean?

God says we have to live by faith. Why? Faith is not just believing "in" God. But faith is believing what God said, more than you believe what other things around you are saying. More than a doctor, banker or even symptoms in your body. Now if you say you love God and don't believe what he says, wouldn't you be able to see why, that would not be pleasing to God?  Most people think that living by faith is an option.  If they can handle the matter, they want to say, well I don't need God.  Do you see what I mean?  Maybe you can handle it, but God has a far better plan, that he would like you to use. He would not tell you anything that would make your situation worse.

The other reason is that God wants you to overcome all the things that the enemy is throwing at you. 

Good things come from God and bad things come from the enemy. Read John 10:10. Settle it once and for all. 

This is how you overcome.(1 John 5:4) For whosoever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world; even our faith. Glory! Can you see better why we need to live by faith and why God has given us his faith?
